Keith and Cole LOVE the story, "Where the Wild Things Are". I don't really understand why, but they do. For their birthday (more on that later) honorary Aunt Debbie brought them Wild Thing capes and a video of the story being read. Let me tell you, I've literally seen that 10 minute video 3,000 times in just 6 days.

Last night Cole was begging to watch it. Since I hadn't let him watch it all day, he thought he would try Brent when he got home. Normally, this tactic works since Brent is the most monumental marshmallow known to man when it comes to his children...

The conversation between father and son went like this:
Cole: "Watch Wild Things?"
Brent: "No, buddy."
Brent: "No, buddy."
Cole: "Watch Wild Things!" "No watch football!"
What does that tell you about our house and my husband? Technically, Brent was trying to find the World Series. But it's rare that anything besides football plays on our TV between Labor Day and New Years Day. Even little Coley knows that by now. Brent's concerned that Cole will begin to resent football and hurt his chances of future stardom. I'm not worried. I fully expect to have a house full of football fans while Ally and I hit the mall.

Darcee, maybe C/K should eat more cookies? They look so skinny without their shirts on! But they are seriously so cute.
And little Ally. So precious. She's going to get kissed and loved to death at Thanksgiving! Love all the pics.
Ha ha. Yah, I think there's little chance of them growing up to resent football. I'm so impressed that you can put cute little Ally on the floor for even a minute and have her survive. We're still working with Calvin on the concept that Ivy is not a hurdle to be jumped over (or upon).
Seriously, I'm kind of glad the boys smoother her so much so she'll be ready when the aunties come for thanksgiving. Love the pics!! Two posts in one week--you ARE superwoman
Love the posts! Just my opinion, but I think it's much better that they watch it 3000 times than you having to read it to them 3000 times.
Oh my gosh, your boys are so hilarious! And I just have to say Ally looked so sweet in her little blessing outfit.

I've been seeing a lot of football on TV around here too. That's pretty much all Clint talks about and how sad he'll be when the season is over. That's so funny that Cole said "no football"! I'm sure he'll change his mind eventually. If not, Brent may have to offer some bribes.
Those pictures of Ally's blessing are so sweet! I'm glad we could make it.
