It was a proud evening for me.
In case you've never seen this Christmas movie classic, here's a picture of "Clark" and "Cousin Eddie" in "the outfit." This is the best pic I could find, unfortunately.
In addition to Cousin Eddie gracing us with his presence, we had a great time in Sunriver with Brent's family.
Brent got in some skiing.
We went sledding. (The boys' enthusiasm is sadly accurately portrayed in these pics.)
The boys also found some new interests which include Foosball and "jumping parties". The jumping parties have continued at our house by way of Keith and Cole throwing our couch cushions on the floor and dive-bombing into them from the highest point possible.
Cousin Caden had the coveted toy of the season in his toy train. Said train was hidden several times to avoid child injury and conserve parental sanity. (You can just see the older cousins closing in on Caden's train.)
We had a fun time getting away for Christmas. Brent's parents spoiled us with a great place, delicious food and a "good old fashion family Christmas".
Fortunately, Cousin Eddie didn't wear his awesome outfit the entire vacation. :)

Oh my gosh Darc. Brent looks so freaking hilarious in that picture (eddie pic of course). I can't believe what an amazing job he did replicating that horrible outfit.
The train thing....the joy of sharing toys. Once you figure it out, please let me know, because my kids are the most selfish kids when it comes to toys. I'm worried their friends aren't going to come play anymore.
You look so amazingly beautiful in these pictures Darcee. Didn't you have a baby not too long ago? Wow. You are obviously back in shape.

That's awesome. While other families spend Christmas Eve dressing their kids up in shepherd and donkey costumes, Brent is donning his Eddie costume. Love it. You should be proud!
Brent - Thank goodness you were voted "Best Body in high school" or else you couldn't have pulled off the eddie outfit so well!
We love Brent!! hahahaha! I literally laughed out loud at the sledding picture. Our altest sledding adventure included three attempts down the hill, and on the third...the saucer broke into 5 pieces underneath Sean and Isaac's butts! Good thing it wasn't me on the sled because I'm already having a hard enough time post-baby! hehehe! Miss you as ever.
Hilarious...as I was reading your blog Darran, from afar, guessed exactly who Brent was! Sounds like you guys had a good Christmas!
I have to echo the comments already written..Brent is hilarious and Darcee you are breathtaking! You guys are a sight for sore eyes...we miss ya!
